How often do you think about your dreams? Do you daydream about something you would like to have, a place you want to visit, or something you want to be or do? After daydreaming, do you dismiss your daydream, saying to yourself that it’s just a dream that will never come true? If this is what you are doing, then it will never come true. Most dreams can come true, but you need to be courageous to pursue them. You need to get out of your comfort zone. You need to invest time and energy. If you just daydream, and avoid making changes in your life, nothing will happen, except feelings of frustration and missed opportunities, and maybe, anger and envy. If you want your dreams to come true you need to do something about them. Not one day, but right now. Procrastination is not an option. Only courageous representative accomplish their dreams. This applies to big dreams, and also to simple everyday dreams. I am asking you when you have your awareness session this week talk about each individual dreams, then how you can help each individual achieve their goals, after all, am I not my brother and sister keeper. It’s rather easy to awaken the courage to pursue dreams. Start with small dreams, about things that are within your reach. Choose something that you really want, and which does not infringe on the rights of other representative. Use your imagination to see it as accomplished. Constantly, hammer into your mind that you already have it. For this, use affirmations. Think what you can do right now, to get closer to accomplishing your dream. Open your mind to opportunities that will sooner or later appear. Act, do, and don’t wait. Dreams can come true, if you have the courage to pursue them. Representatives, Learn how to improve your life and turn your wishes and dreams into reality with the power of creative visualization. Visualize and Achieve Your Dreams. Gay Polk-Payton was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to the late Ollie and Fannie Miller Polk, she is the wife of Gregory White, Sr., she has one son, Gaybriel “Kobe” Payton and two stepsons, Greg, Jr. and Brandon. She was admitted to the practice of law in the state of Mississippi in September 1996 after completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at the University of Southern Mississippi, a Master’s in Business Administration at the University of New Orleans with and a Juris Doctor at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) School of Law Gay is Commissioner for the 12th Judicial District with the Mississippi Bar Association and a member of Magnolia and American Bar Associations, a member of the Trial Lawyers Association, the Mississippi Justice Court Judge Association, the Hattiesburg Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, a Hall of Fame member at the Univeristy of Mississippi's Black Law Student's Association, a member of the Council on Legal Education Opportunity's Judges Hall of fame, a VIP Hall of Fame member of the National Association of Professional Women and a member and past president of the South Central Mississippi Bar Association. She is currently employed with Forrest County Justice Court where she has served as an elected Judge since 2012, she is owner of Polk-Payton Law Office, she is former Adjunct Faculty Member with USM’s Human Performance and Recreation Department and she is former Assistant Dean for Student Affairs with the University of Mississippi School of Law. She is the author of a book titled, "This Has Been A Public Service Announcement" and she is the host of an internet radio show titled, "Gay's PSA." She is licensed to practice law in all courts in the State of Mississippi, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals and in the United States Supreme Court. Summary: She is a licensed attorney, bar commissioner and a sworn judge; she is a singer and songwriter; she is an author, radio show host, video blogger; and she is a proud wife and mother.
